Are you an experienced Support Worker, Healthcare Assistant, or Care Worker looking for a rewarding role supporting vulnerable children and young people?
We are currently recruiting for a Residential Children's Support Worker to join a welcoming and supportive children's residential home in Stourbridge. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated individual who is passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of children and young people.
The successful candidate will play a key role in providing high-quality care, emotional support, and guidance to children within a residential setting, helping them to achieve positive outcomes and reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing day-to-day care and support to children and young people within the home.
- Promoting a safe, nurturing, and positive environment.
- Supporting children with their emotional, social, and behavioural development.
- Building positive relationships and acting as a role model.
- Supporting with daily routines, education, appointments, and activities.
- Completing accurate records and reports.
- Working as part of a dedicated team to deliver outstanding care.
Requirements
- Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care (Essential).
- Previous experience within residential childcare, support work, healthcare, or a similar care setting.
- A genuine passion for supporting children and young people.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexibly across day, afternoon, and night shifts.
- Full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle (Essential).
- Ability to remain calm, patient, and resilient in challenging situations.
