Telehandler Operator

Are you an experienced Telehandler Operator with proven experience operating a 12m JCB 535-125 in confined working environments

A well-established construction company is seeking a skilled Telehandler Operator to join a busy site in Havant, PO9. This role offers approximately 2 months of work with an immediate start and is ideally suited to an experienced operator who is confident working within tight spaces on a heritage building project, must live close to Havant.

The successful Telehandler Operator will be responsible for safe and efficient machine operation, supporting site logistics, and assisting with general site duties when not operating the telehandler. Due to the nature of the project, excellent operating skills and previous experience in restricted-access environments are essential, must be willing to help out with general site duties, lifting / shifting / labouring in between machine operating.

Duties

• Operate a 12m JCB 535-125 Telehandler safely and efficiently
• Lift, move, and distribute materials across the site
• Work within confined spaces inside a heritage building
• Carry out daily machine checks and report any issues
• Support site logistics and material movements
• Assist with general labouring duties when required
• Help with lifting, shifting, and site housekeeping tasks
• Follow all site health and safety procedures

Skills & Experience Required

• Previous experience as a Telehandler Operator
• Valid CPCS or NPORS Telehandler qualification
• Experience operating a 12m JCB 535-125 / Other Machines
• Strong operating skills within tight or restricted spaces
• Experience working on construction or refurbishment projects
• Willingness to undertake general site labouring duties
• Reliable with excellent timekeeping and safety awareness
• Must provide 2 satisfactory references
• Must live in travel distance of Havant
