We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Day Shift Engineer to join a leading building services provider at a prestigious commercial site in the City of London. This is an excellent opportunity for an electrically qualified engineer looking for a stable days-only shift pattern, excellent benefits, and long-term career progression.
The Role:
As an Electrical Shift Engineer, you will be responsible for the planned and reactive maintenance of all electrical and associated building services systems within a high-end commercial environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
- Responding to electrical and mechanical breakdowns
- Fault finding and troubleshooting on electrical systems
- Maintaining lighting, power, emergency lighting, and control systems
- Ensuring all works are completed in line with health & safety regulations
- Liaising with subcontractors and site management teams
- Completing maintenance reports and compliance paperwork
Requirements:
- City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 Electrical Qualification
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Experience working within commercial building maintenance
- Strong fault-finding and maintenance experience
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Package & Benefits:
- Salary up to £55,000
- 4 on 4 off day shift pattern (7am – 7pm)
